DESCRIPTION:Palliative Care Training for the Community: Brooks\nThis no cost\, two-day\, in-person training follows the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association Training Program which is recognized across Canada. It will give volunteers\, caregivers and interested community members the confidence to provide quality support services in any setting\, whether that is in hospice\, care centres or a private home. \n\nDates: Friday\, Apr 11 and Saturday\, Apr 12\, 2025\nTime: 8:00 am – 4:45 pm (Apr 11) and 8:30 am – 4:45 pm (Apr 12)\nLocation: Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre\, 1217 2 St W\, Brooks\, AB\nCommunity Host: Prairie Rose Hospice Palliative Care Society\n\nCertificate of Attendance will be available to participants who attend both days. \nThe Alberta Hospice Palliative Care Association engages in education\, advocacy\, and provision of resources to achieve comprehensive and quality hospice palliative and end of life care for all Albertans.
