There are a number of ways you can support the Prairie Rose Hospice in our community:
Share
We encourage you to share about the hospice care model and its importance. Share with others about our events and programs. We have limited advertising funds, so your partnership is vital to our success.
Give
We are always in need of funds, with an aging and growing community, as well as ongoing maintenance of current equipment and program running. Your generous donations ensure our society continues to offer compassionate care to Brooks and area residents. As a registered charity, we are able to provide tax-deductible receipts.
Volunteer
We need all kinds of volunteers – event planning help, caregiver relief, craft show volunteers, sitting with palliative care patients and more. This can be a real gratifying experience.
All our PRHPCS volunteers need to register with the AHS volunteer coordinator to be involved with hospital visitations or society functions. See current volunteer opportunities, fill out online applications, and follow-up with the Volunteer Coordinator (403-501-3207).
Join Our Board
We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our board of directors in working toward our hospice palliative care goals. We, also, need members to help on our committees. As well as, volunteers to help with projects throughout the year. Please let us know how you can help.
We now meet at 7:00pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month, at various members’ homes. Meetings can also be attended online.
